When buying a fireplace, consider the following:

• Take in to account the size of the chimney breast
• Take in to account the size of the fireplace in relation to the size of the room
• Consider the look you want in both colour and design
• Always insure the fireplace you choose is suitable for the fuel you use i.e. solid fuel, gas or electric. Do not hesitate to check with the sales team what is most suitable for you.
• If possible, call to our showroom before construction of your house begins to gain advice on construction of the chimney, opening, flues etc, to allow for variations in opening sizes for your fireplace requirements i.e. most builders tend to allow standard openings in chimneys and these greatly limit the options for the fire opening sizes.
